During the initial nominating period November 9 - December 11, more than 11,300 nominations were submitted. The 100 physician-executives who received the most nominations constitute the final ballot. Dr. Rapier is the only physician executive from South Texas who made the top 100.
The 50 physicians who receive the most votes make the final list, with the ranking determined by the number of votes received. The final 2010 ranking will be published in the April 12 issue of Modern Healthcare and Modern Physician.
