PPO Information
For WellMed employees and their families who are covered by the PPO Plan (Preferred Provider Organization), this is plan allows you the option of (1) using the Managed Care Plan which means you must use providers contracted with the WellMed Employee Health Plan (WEHP) and you will pay set copayments for services rendered or (2) you may choose to use a non-contracted provider of your choice but will be responsible for applicable charges for services rendered. Please refer to the Provider Directory for more information regarding our contracted providers.
We have a third party administrator, Benefit Management Administrators (BMA), who oversees the enrollment and claims payment for our members to ensure confidentiality of your personal health information.
