Citrus Health Care

Citrus Health Care is a Health Maintenance Organization serving residents in central and southern Florida. Incorporated in February 2003, Citrus Health Care offers four lines of business:

• Citrus Individual- Comprehensive health plans to individuals and their families
• Citrus Medicare- A series of Medicare Advantage plans that offer more benefits than traditional Medicare
• Citrus Medicaid- A cost free plan that bolsters Medicaid by covering more services
• Tango Plan- Designed for those with long term care needs, this plan coordinates a wide range of services for seniors and their caregivers

Citrus Health Care is headquartered in Tampa, Florida and was purchased by Physicians Health Choice in April 2010.
